About
Our Mission
To build a network of chosen villages — where everyone has a table to come home to.
Every weekend, my mother’s kitchen table was surrounded by aunts, uncles, family and friends, blood and chosen.
Some loud, some quiet. Some certain, some still finding their way.
There was love and laughter. Stories and disagreements. Different voices around one table, and that’s what made it so rich.
That table stayed with me.
Not because everyone agreed. Not because anyone had all the answers.
But because there was room for people to arrive as they were.
Nobody had to fit in to belong. Nobody had to leave themselves at the door.
I created My Mother’s Kitchen Table in that spirit.
A collection of conversation cards designed to bring people together, spark stories and create space for the conversations that often get lost in the rush of everyday life. They’re for sharing around a table, or for a cup of tea on your own.
Inside, you’ll find three paths:
The Threshold
A gentle way to arrive, leave the noise behind and settle into the moment. The Hearth
Stories, laughter, memories and the small moments that shape us.The Deep Woods
The questions that invite us a little further, into curiosity, reflection, and connection. There are no winners.
No scores.
No pressure to get anything right.
Just a table, a question, and whatever unfolds from there. So gather your friends. Bring your family. Invite the people who know you well, and the people you’re still getting to know.
The conversation doesn’t need to be perfect.
It just needs a place to begin.
Many voices. One table. No rush.
