Every weekend, my mother’s kitchen table was surrounded by aunts, uncles, family and friends, blood and chosen. Some loud, some quiet. Some certain, some still finding their way.

Everyone was different.
Everyone belonged.
Nobody had to leave themselves at the door.

There was love and laughter. Stories and disagreements. Different voices around one table, and that’s what made it so rich.

That table inspired these cards.
